Sumaira Malik
Sumaira Malik is a Pakistani politician who had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from 2002 till October 2013. Born on December 19, 1963, she has done Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of the Punjab.
Malik was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan from Constituency NA-69 (Khushab-I) as a candidate of National Alliance in the 2002 Pakistani general election. In September 2004, she was inducted into the federal cabinet of Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and was appointed as Minister of State for Tourism. She was re-elected to the National Assembly from Constituency NA-69 (Khushab-I) as a candidate of PML-Q in the 2008 and 2013 Pakistani general election.
Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi
Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi (20 November 1916 - 10 July 2006) was an Urdu language Pakistani poet, journalist, literary critic, dramatist and short story author. He wrote 50 books on poetry, fiction, criticism, journalism and art and was a major figure in contemporary Urdu literature. His poetry was distinguished for its humanism and his Urdu afsana (short story) work is very popular. He was also editor and publisher of the literary magazine Funoon for almost half a century. He received awards such as the Pride of Performance in 1968 and Sitara-e-Imtiaz in 1980 for his literary work.
